The following report is based on information kindly supplied by Altrincham Youth Team manager, George Heslop.

After an even opening fifteen minutes, Mario Daniel was brought down in the penalty area. Paul Mongahan took the spot-kick but put it wide of the target (17 mins). The team then went through an indifferent spell before Monaghan made amends for his penalty miss by scoring from Mario Daniel's cross from the right to give Altrincham the lead (44 mins). Altrincham played much better after the interval of a match played on a slippery, thawing surface. Another right-wing cross was finished off by Monaghan after 50 minutes before striker Otis Thomas gave way to Adam Schofield in the 61st minute. Schofield soon rattled the bar with a header and he then played in Paul Crowther for goal number three (74 mins). The home side were now well on top and George Heslop removed Levi Kennedy from the fray, as he was carrying a slight knock (76 mins) and brought on substitute, Lee McDonald. Six minutes later, Damien Gilks replaced Paul Crowther before Alty got their final goal a minute from the end. This came from Adam Schofield who turned well before shooting past the Euxton keeper. The Robins retained their 100% league record and are now six points clear in the table, which is to be found on the main Altrincham Youth page of this site. The player statistics are here, showing Paul Crowther as leading scorer with 8 goals in 7 starts, one more than Paul Monaghan, with 7 goals.
